With the 2018 collection we provide gear for all types of weather conditions, but what should you pick when the circumstances are constantly changing? Learn more about the best products in our monthly Tech Update!

The Magic Marine Collection is developed with three intensity levels in mind. The Brand collection is for all who want to be prepared and protected when getting into the sport of sailing. The Ultimate range is for sailors who love casual weeknight club racing and don't want to miss out on any beautiful weekend on the water. For the professtional sailors who need to be protected from the elements almost every single day of the week, we developed the Racing collection. Still they love to wear their favourite Ultimate gear. This ultimate tech update tells you why!

ULTIMATE SPRAYTOP
When developing and designing the Ultimate Spraytop we worked on ultimate comfort and kept safety in mind as well so sailors can easily be spotted in grey, rainy and stormy weather. The top is available in bright blue and neon yellow! Safety first!

ULTIMATE BOOTS
The 5mm neoprene Ultimate Boots with reinforced instep and strong grip are a good set of boots for just about any day on the water. The boots are very allround and perfect for hiking but also other dinghy sailing or even in more extreme sailing on cats!

TO WETSUIT OR NOT TO WETSUIT? MARCO GRAEL SAYS YES TO THE ULTIMATE WETSUIT

The 70% M-Flex lightweight neoprene suit Marco Grael is wearing has minimal seams and short arms specifically designed for ultimate sailing performance. Ideal for medium/warm weather conditions, where the short-arms allow for cooling and freedom of movement. Carlos Robles is wearing the Ultimate Fullsuit which even has a soft feel interior lining that reflects body heat and makes sure you will stay warm longer. Both suits are also available in female fit.

Marco Grael: "Why I say yes to the Ultimate Wetsuit? I’m a heavy guy in the 49er, this means too much clothing makes you even less agile in the boat. The Ultimate Range gives me the temperature and bruise protection I want and still have the feeling I’m in lycras. Very stretchy and shapes as our body needs! Its the suit I use most because it works very well in Brazil and in Europe."

GRIP IS KEY
Someone who's never ever spotted on the water without her Ultimate Gloves is Dutch Laser Radial sailor Daphne van der Vaart: "I love my Ultimate Gloves! They stay flexible when they get wet, even after hours on the water. Which is perfect because you can still move your hands. They also give you enough grip to hold on but still the lines can run through your hands very smoothly."

ULTIMATE GLOVE F/F
The Ultimate Glove has been designed to be a soft, flexible full finger glove that provides hand protection from ropes while sailing.

ULTIMATE 2 SHOE
The 3mm Ultimate Shoes are neoprene shoes that have a reinforced instep and strong grip for just about any day on the water.

SAFETY FIRST WITH THE ULTIMATE BUOYANCY AID
The Ultimate Buoyancy Aid is an allround life vest for all who love to spend their spare time on the water. It has adjustable shoulder straps, a side zipper entry with chunky YKK zipper, a waist strap with buckle, front pockets for storing essential items and it's CE ISO 12402-5 approved.
